'Wasting Time' is a cutting blues track with somewhat of a country twang. The slightly Tarantino-esque track is about somebody not only wasting their own time, but other people's too, a love triangle that's falling apart.
O'Malley's voice has a great vocal range which allows her to have a distinctive edge similar to the likes of Joni Mitchell, Florence Welch and Regina Spektor. 'Wasting Time' is a catchy track that captures O'Malley's talents in both singing and songwriting, her best song yet.
